My name is Sharifa, and I live in St. Louis. I wanted to join this class because I wanted to focus my energy on thinking more positively given the current climate of constant bad news. I also want to be nudged to write a bit more, so I figured this was a good opportunity :).

Deleteglad to be on this writing journey with you + positive energy to thinking and being good news - I'm seeking the silly a bit these days, the joy in tiny stuff and the Good in every one...(not sure I'll find it but I believe the Good Treasure is in Every One) so just in case I'm wrong, I'm sending light and positive energy to D.C. so they can have extra and maybe "see the light"...oh my!

I'd also like to think (and really try to see) the good in everyone, but it's difficult when I think about what's going on more broadly (and the facilitators of the "going on"). But everyone is a son or daughter of someone, so there has to be some modicum of goodness when I remember that, I think?
